On March 29, 2009, Breakthrough's immigration videos, Death by Detention, Live from Jail and Army Man Ordered Deported played at the Amnesty International USA 2009 Annual General Meeting closing Plenary titled, "Jailed Without Justice: The International Fight Against Arbitrary Immigration Detention."

Speakers included: Eva Millona, Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition, Margaret Huang, Rights Working Group, Sherif Elsayed-Ali, Amnesty International, Rosa Clemente, Amnesty International USA and moderator Sarnata Reynolds, Amnesty International USA.
