Rights Advocate: A Resource Guide on HIV/AIDS Awareness is a guide to implement HIV and sexually transmitted infection programs in schools, colleges, AIDS service organizations and community based organizations.

This colorful guide is intended for youth trainers who will in turn be expected to take up the challenge to educate their peers on HIV prevention.

Through this guide youth will:

*Gain knowledge on HIV/AIDS and sexuality from a human rights based gender perspective

*Help their friends make safer decisions about sex

*Discover their skills and attitudes and work as a team

*Develop communication and leadership skills

*Use the material to bring about positive change by encouraging safer sex behavior

*Be creative and produce products through the process
