Chandranath oversees Breakthrough’s program expansion into the issue of early marriage. A post-graduate in sociology and rural development, he has been working in social development for more than 12 years. Prior to Breakthough, he worked with USAID/AED – Micronutrient and Child Blindness Program, USAID/Vistaar Project, USAID/ITAP in Jharkhand, National Rural Health Mission in Rajasthan; and DFID/WBRCH Project, CARE, and CCF Project in West Bengal. Chandranath received a 2007 Global Leadership Award from the Academy for Educational Development in Washington DC.
