Krati Prakash has a masters degree in women’s studies and has conducted projects and campaigns on issues including gender, violence against women, sexuality, youth empowerment, and law, security and peace. She is a founding member of Tehreek, an organization addressing the human rights of Muslim women and children. She has also worked as a fellow with Pravah, where she formed a group of young people to work on issues of fundamentalism and religious tolerance. She has also used theater, comics, and puppetry to create awareness in society on various social issues.
