Leena makes sure we know everything we need to know about an issue before we design programs and campaigns to address it. She brings to Breakthrough a doctorate along with degrees in zoology and anthropology — and more than thirteen years of policy-related health research on topics such as immunization and maternal and child health. She has worked on projects funded by USAID, The World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, as well as with organizations including the Centre for Global Health Research, Research Triangle Institute International and Public Health Foundation of India. She is married and has two children. Her downtime, if she had it, would be spent listening to music and watching movies.
