“Resource mobilization” is the fancy NGO term for “raising moolah,” and Rajshri is the one who makes it happen for Breakthrough’s India-based work. She is responsible for securing grants and other support for women’s human rights in India (and our emerging programs in Bangladesh and Nepal). She has a post-graduate degree in economics — and a closet full of the various and colorful hats she wore before coming to Breakthrough: market researcher for petrochemicals, high school economics teacher, and more. Rajshri enjoys music, dance, theatre, reading, travel, knitting, and food.
