Veenu runs our developing program that addresses gender-biased sex selection in Haryana. A post-graduate in women’s studies, she has worked in many regions of India on many other women’s human rights issues, including domestic violence, sexual harassment at work, and reproductive health and rights, as well as child sexual abuse. Though she must sometimes function as a one-woman army, her forte is training, coordination, and building partnerships.
