See photos from the Breakthrough event, “Why Can’t America Have Human Rights?” as leaders and performers tackled human rights issues from immigration rights, labor rights, all the way to reproductive rights in the U.S.

Breakthrough's public forum, held at the historic Riverside Church in New York City brought over 600 students, leaders, and community members together to hear the answers to the question, "Why Can't America Have Human Rights?"

Speakers and artists in attendance were united in their platform-- the United States must take a stand against abuses and create a much needed human rights movement in our country.
