As told by her sister June Everett, watch the story of Sandra Kenley, a 52- year-old grandmother, who after living in the U.S. legally for 33 years, was subjected to degrading and inhumane conditions and died in immigration detention.

This is one of the hundreds of thousands of stories from behind the walls of inhumane, neglected immigrant detention in the United States. Currently, immigrant detention centers are detaining 300,000 legal and undocumented immigrants, many who have not committed a single crime. For an indefinite amount of time, they are subjected to unlawful, inhumane, degrading punishment, which violates their due process and violates their human rights.

This important film was a winner of the 2009 DogooderTV Nonprofit Awards.
