At Breakthrough, Drishya will be responsible for taking care of the organization’s internal and external communications and public relations. Drishya holds a Master’s degree in Broadcast Media from Manipal University, and joins Breakthrough with four years of journalism experience at the International Business Times, where she covered international politics, science, health and entertainment news. A true South Indian at heart, Drishya spent a large part of her life in Bangalore, and loves to indulge in Idli/dosa treats every once in a while. She is a trained Carnatic classical vocalist and has been a stage performer in Mangalore, Manipal, and Bangalore. She hopes to put together her knowledge of arts and experience in journalism at Breakthrough to spread social messages through pop culture.
